Life is wonky. LEt's Get You balanced.

DanielleWonkovich6.jpg

After navigating my own season of burnout and nervous system overload, I became devoted to learning how the body actually heals. Now I help others move from chronic stress and shutdown into safety, steadiness, and real resilience through breathwork, movement, and grounded energy work.

Alongside this, I bring a background and ongoing interest in urban planning and environmental design, particularly how physical spaces, workplaces, and environments shape human behaviour, stress, and wellbeing. This lens allows me to connect internal regulation with external environments, and to support organizations in thinking more intentionally about how people experience the spaces they live and work in.

I keep a standard set of services but often rotate a few depending on capacity. If you don't see an offering that works for you or you'd prefer to set up something for your group, please contact me detailing what you're looking to do.

You’re Not Broken. Your Nervous System Is Overloaded.

If you feel constantly on edge, physically achy, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in cycles of stress and shutdown, you’re not failing. Your system is overwhelmed. Modern life - at home, work, and the environments we build - keeps the body in survival mode, and I have found that lasting change happens when the nervous system feels safe enough to make different choices. This is where real transformation begins.

MY APPROACH

Yoga Practice Pose
Supporting Balance Through Body, Breath, and Awareness

My 1:1 work integrates yoga, breathwork, movement awareness, and energy practices to support a more balanced and responsive nervous system. Rather than pushing the body harder, the focus is on learning how to listen to its signals and respond with practices that restore steadiness and ease.

Sessions may include gentle movement, breath practices, and guided awareness designed to help you release unnecessary tension, improve mobility, and reconnect with your body’s natural rhythms.

WAYS TO WORK WITH ME

Workplace Wellness Audits & Real Estate Advisory

Advisory services include strategic recommendations across workplace design, space utilization, and environmental factors to improve employee wellbeing, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Group Classes, Workshops, & Workplace Wellness Experiences

Shared, high-engagement sessions that bring movement, breathwork, and nervous system awareness into groups and the workplace in an accessible, collective setting. These experiences combine interactive workshops and group practices designed to help participants learn practical regulation tools, deepen awareness of the body’s signals, and directly experience the benefits of wellbeing practices in real time.

1:1 Sessions

Work with me in a private setting where your practice is built around you. Each session package begins with a simple biomechanical movement assessment along with a conversation about your goals, stress patterns, and lifestyle. From there, we explore yoga, breathwork, and nervous system as supportive practices tailored to your body and needs. These sessions are designed to help you move better, breathe more fully, and develop tools you can carry into everyday life.

Self-Guided Resources

Self-guided programs and practice materials designed to help you explore breath, movement, and nervous system awareness in your own time. These offerings combine practical exercises, reflective prompts, and guided practices to support meaningful and sustainable personal growth.

Hi, I’m Danielle Wonkovich!

My work moves from the micro to the meta. It starts in a single nervous system, with breath, fascia, and the body's response to stress. From there it widens to the group in the room, the organizations shaping how people work, the buildings they work in, and the cities that set the conditions for all of it.

That range comes from where I've been, with somatic practice and physiology on one side and thirteen years of urban planning and a background in design on the other. Wonky Yoga & Wellness grew out of impatience with a broken system that puts the onus of health on the individual while simultaneously being built for us to be unwell.

My approach is direct, grounded, and focused on outcomes that reduce the physical tax of burnout and restore the body's innate capacity for resilience and connection. Whether it's one person, a team rethinking the space they work in, or a neighborhood aiming for healthy community, I'm working toward the same practical return to balanced, human-centered living.
